The Cambridge Pregnancy Resource Centre (CPRC) is committed to protecting your privacy and developing technology that gives you the most powerful and safe online experience. This Statement of Privacy applies to The Cambridge Pregnancy Resource Centre website and governs data collection and usage. By using The Cambridge Pregnancy Resource Centre website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

Pregnancy tests: Cambridge Pregnancy Resource Centre is not a medical facility, and we do not offer medical advice, counsel, or service.  Our pregnancy test is 99% accurate when administered seven to ten days after possible conception, but it is recommended that a medical practitioner confirm the pregnancy.

Adoption: Cambridge Pregnancy Resource Centre is not an adoption agency and is not associated with an adoption agency.  If you wish to make an adoption plan for your child, we will provide referrals for adoption agencies.

Abortion: We do not perform or refer for abortions.  We offer accurate information on abortion, and the alternatives, enabling you to make a decision that you can live comfortably with.

E-mails: No advice will be given by e-mail. Please call to make an appointment to come into the Centre.

Counselling: The Centre is staffed by trained volunteers, but the information we provide is not intended as a substitute for professional counselling.

Collection of your Personal Information

CPRC collects personally identifiable information, such as your e-mail address, name, home or work address or telephone number. CPRC also collects anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your postal code, age, gender, preferences, interests and favourites.

There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected by CPRC. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring web site addresses. This information is used by CPRC for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the CPRC website.

Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through CPRC message boards, this information may be collected and used by others. Note: The Cambridge Pregnancy Resource Centre does not read any of your private online communications.

CPRC encourages you to review the privacy statements of web sites you choose to link to CPRC, so that you can understand how those web sites collect, use and share your information. CPRC is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on web sites outside of the CPRC.

Use of your Personal Information

The CPRC collects and uses your personal information to operate CPRC site and deliver the services you have requested.
